Symbol Specific Alerts
In the Product section of the alert, there is a new selection to trigger the alert based on the Aggregate value across underlying symbols or Separate value for each underlying symbol. The default selection is to aggregate values across underlying symbols to replicate the previous behavior of alerts.
Here is an example if you want to alert if the Net Vega in any underlying symbol is outside of 100,000 or -100,000
Set the trigger condition
In the Product section, set the Triger based on selection to “Separate value for each und symbol”
The system will check the Net Vega for all underlying symbols and trigger an alert if the Net Vega is outside of your trigger condition. If you want to set an alert for a specific underlying symbol, check the Symbols radio button in the Product section and enter the underlying symbol you want to trigger based on.
If you want the system to alert based on the aggregate value across a specific set of underlying instruments, then enter each underlying symbol and select the “Aggregate value across und symbols” radio button.
